Mount Cricket Club reaches semi-finals of Yashpal Sharma Memorial Cricket Tournament

Ghaziabad | Mount Cricket Club entered the semi-finals of the second All India Yashpal Sharma Memorial Cricket Tournament by defeating Rajnigandha Cricket Club by 5 wickets in a thrilling quarter-final match. Mount Cricket Club won the toss and invited Rajnigandha Club to bat first. Rajnigandha Club made a respectable score of 260 runs after losing 9 wickets, thanks to Raghav Kapoor’s brilliant 137 runs in the stipulated 40 overs. Dhruv Singh played an unbeaten inning of 47 runs and Manish Sherawat played an unbeaten inning of 40 runs in 17 balls. Mayank Rawat took 3 wickets for 49 runs, Karthik Mann and Abhishek Yadav took 2-2 wickets.

Mount Cricket Club achieved the target of 260 runs in 38.5 overs by losing 5 wickets. Mayank Rawat played a brilliant inning of 109 runs. Parnav Rajvanshi played an inning of 64 runs and Yash Dhull played an inning of 41 runs. Yash Awana took 3 wickets for 58 runs. Mayank Rawat was adjudged Sports Sun Man of the Match for his excellent all-round performance.
