Ghaziabad| Young Friends Club registered an easy victory by defeating Ravi Brothers by 131 runs in the inaugural match of the 9th All India Rajpati Mishra Tournament. Young Friends Club won the toss and batted first, scoring 333 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 40 overs with the help of captain Siddharth Sharma’s explosive 158 runs with the help of 10 fours and 15 sixes in 84 balls. Saransh Parashar played a brilliant inning of 93 runs. Rajveer Bhatia and Adarsh Yadav took 2-2 wickets.
Chasing the target of 333 runs to win, the entire team of Ravi Brothers was reduced to 202 runs in 37.4 overs and lost the match by 131 runs. Krishna Badana played an inning of 42 runs and Anant Gupta played an unbeaten inning of 39 runs. Kamal Nagar and Yogeshwar Singh Yadav took 3-3 wickets. Siddharth Sharma was adjudged Sports Sun Man of the Match for his excellent batting.
