Harcourt Butler U-16 Tournament: Bal Bhawan’s resounding win over Young Friends Academy

New Delhi | Bal Bhawan thrashed Young Friends Academy by 219 runs in a one-sided match in their second league match of the 3rd Harcourt Butler Under-16 Cricket Tournament.

Batting first after winning the toss, Bal Bhawan scored 296 runs in 39.5 overs. Saksham played the highest innings of 62 runs. Captain Hemang scored 58 and Garv Kumar scored 42 runs. Mayank Das bowled brilliantly and took 3 wickets for 47 runs.

Chasing Bal Bhawan’s score of 296 runs, the Young Friends Academy team lost the match by 219 runs, being reduced to just 77 runs in 27.1 overs. Kunal Singh played an inning of 28 runs. Nimit Tyagi bowled brilliantly and took 4 wickets for 9 runs. Ravik Malhotra took 3 wickets for 17 runs. Nimit Tyagi was adjudged man of the match for his brilliant bowling.
