New Delhi | Anuj Rawat’s blistering unbeaten 121 helped ACC Income Tax in beating A&S Kolkata by 7 wickets to win the SPJ T20 Cup title.
ACC Income Tax won the toss and invited A&S Kolkata to bat first, A&S Kolkata scored 171 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Pankaj Kumar played an inning of 63 runs and Saurav Tiwari played an inning of 50 runs. Pankaj Jaiswal bowled brilliantly and took 4 wickets for 27 runs.
ACC Income Tax achieved the target of 171 runs by losing 3 wickets in just 17.3 overs. Anuj Rawat scored 121 runs in just 62 balls with the help of 11 fours and sixes to make the win very easy. Pramod Chandela played an inning of 28 runs. Manish Sherawat took a wicket after giving a run.
The winning team was given Rs 11 lakh and the runner-up team was given Rs 6 lakh. The other 2 teams that reached the semi-finals were awarded an amount of 1-1 lakh each. Best batsman Abhishek Pathak, best bowler Pankaj Jaiswal, best all-rounder Anuj Rawat were given an amount of 31-31 thousand.
Prize distribution was done by organizer secretary Puran Singh Joshi, Hemant Balyan and owners of KP Sports Kesari Sharma and Sanjeev Sharma. DDCA Director Shyam Sharma and Joint Secretary Rajan Manchanda were present on the occasion and they were honored by Puran Joshi, Hemant Baliyan and Kesari Prasad.
