Ambati Rayudu announces retirement from IPL, will play his final match of IPL against Gujarat Titans in the Final of IPL 2023

Chennai Super Kings batsman Ambati Rayudu has announced his retirement from the Indian Premier League. The 37 year old confirmed that the IPL 2023 Final between Chennai Supper Kings and defending champions Gujarat Titans would be his last match.

The Chennai Super king batsman informed on twitter of his decision to retire from IPL after the 2023 final. Rayudu said he has truly enjoyed playing this tournament, he also said he would not take any U-terms this time.

In a twit Ambati Rayudu mentioned, 2 great teams mi nd csk, 204 matches, 14 seasons, 11 playoffs, 8 finals, 5 trophies. Hopefully 6th tonight. It’s been quite a journey. I have decided that tonight’s final is going to be my last game in the IPL. I truly have enjoyed playing this great tournament. Thank u all. No u turns.
