After a comfortable win in the first match of the series Overconfident Indian team entered the field without Captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. ICC has announced the prize money for World Test Championship 2021-23 with a total purse of $3.8 million to be shared between the nine teams. Winners of the ICC World Test Championship 2023 final will take home a monstrous prize of $1.6 million while the runners-up will pocket $800,000.  There is not any change in the tournament prize money, which remains the same as that for the inaugural edition of the championship (2019-21) with a total purse of $3.8 million. The battle of egos of Delhi players was seen once again,  in the IPL match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore, the fight between Delhi player Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli seemed to go on to a scuffle. Kyle Mayers was seen talking to Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir took him away by holding his hand, Virat Kohli was stung, it was clearly seen in the video that Virat Kohli wanted to put his view what ever happened on the field, he called Gautam Gambhir and put his hand on Gautam Gambhir's shoulder, the support staff and the players were seen pushing the two away from each other and the verbal war between the two players continued.
