New Delhi : Ayush Chauhan 5/45 and Akshay Kapoor 5/35 helped Young Friends Club in defeating Little Master Club by 57 runs in the knockout match of DDCA Hot Weather cricket tournament.
Batting first after winning the toss, Young Friends Club scored 255 runs in 40 overs. Sahil Tada scored the highest 60 runs for the team. Akshay Saini and Tanuj Panwar played useful innings of 46-46 runs. Yug Gupta took 4 wickets for 41 runs, Piyush and Vijay Bhardwaj took 2-2 wickets.
Chasing the target of 255 runs, Yug Gupta 71 and Soham 45 got off to a great start for Little Master Club, but Ayush Chauhan destroyed Little Master Club’s batting by sending 4 consecutive batsmen to the pavilion. Akshay Kapoor bowled brilliantly and took 5 wickets to bundle out the entire Little Master Club team for 198 runs in 37.1 overs.
