New Delhi | Goat -XI defeated Delhi Challengers by 94 runs to enter the semi-finals of the 46th Lala Raghubir Singh Hot Weather Cricket Tournament with the All-round performance by Delhi Ranji Trophy Player Himmat Singh. Delhi Challenger won the toss and invited the Goat XI to bat first. Goat XI lost early wickets and at one stage 3 batsman returned to the pavilions at the score of 50 runs. After this, Himmat Singh 80 and Dhruv Singh 86 strengthened the team by sharing 162 runs for the fourth wicket. Goat XI scored a mammoth score of 375 runs in the allotted 40 overs. Rohit Dhanda took 3 wickets by giving 63 runs and Lalit Yadav took 2 wickets by giving 64 runs.
Chasing a mammoth target of 375 runs the entire Delhi Challenger team being bundled out for 281 runs in 33.3 overs and lost the match by 94 runs. Tanmay Agarwal scored 93 and Lalit Yadav scored 60 runs. Himmat Singh took 3 wickets by giving 48 runs and Yashjeet took 3 wickets by giving 67 runs. Himmat Singh was awarded with the man of the match for his brilliant all-round performance.
