IPL 2023: Cameron Green and Arjun Tendulkar shine in Mumbai Indians’ third consecutive win

Hyderabad | Cameron Green’s brilliant all-round performance helped Mumbai Indians beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 14 runs in a thrilling encounter to register their third consecutive win in IPL 2023. Batting first, Mumbai Indians scored 192 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Captain Rohit Sharma 28 and Inshan Kishan scored 38 runs to give Mumbai Indians a great start. Tilak Verma played a quick inning of 37 runs off 17 balls. Cameron Green played an unbeaten inning of 64 off 40 balls to take Mumbai Indians to a strong score. Marco Jansen took 2 wickets for 43 runs. Chasing 192, Sunrisers Hyderabad team were all out for 178 in 19.5 overs and lost the match by 14 runs. Sunrisers lost the wicket of Harry Brook in the second over, after that Sunrises never looked closer to the target. Mayank Agarwal 48 and Heinrich Klaasen 36 runs had put some fight for Sunrisers. In the last over, Sunrisers needed 20 runs to win but Arjun Tendulkar bowled brilliantly to give victory to Mumbai Indians. Arjun took his first wicket in IPL by dismissing Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Cameron Green was awarded the man of the match for his excellent all-round performance.
