IPL 2023: Rajasthan Royals lost due to Sandeep Sharma’s no ball

Jaipur | No ball, Six on the last ball, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan Royals by 4 wickets in the 52nd very exciting match of IPL 2023. In the last over, Sunrisers Hyderabad needed 17 runs to win. Abdul Samad took 2 runs on the first ball and hit a six on the second ball, 2 runs were scored on the third ball and 1 run on the fourth ball. Jason took 1 run on the fifth ball, now 5 runs were needed to win the last ball, Sandeep Sharma dismissed Abdul Samad and started celebrating but the third umpire signaled no ball. On the free hit ball, Abdul Samad broke the hearts of the team and fans of Rajasthan Royal and put the victory in Sunrisers Hyderabad’s bag.  

Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, Rajasthan Royals made a huge score of 214 runs for 2 wickets in 20 overs due to innings of Jas Butler 95 and Sanju Samson not out 66 runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Marco Jensen took 1-1 wickets. Chasing the target of 214 runs, Abhishek Sharma 55 runs and Anmolpreet Singh 33 runs gave Sunrisers Hyderabad a great start. Rahul Tripathi 47 and Heinrich Klassen scored 26 off 12 balls to keep Sunrisers’ hopes of victory alive. In the 19th over of the innings, Phillips made the match very exciting by hitting three sixes in the first three balls, on the fourth ball, Phillips hit a four, on the fifth ball he got out of Kuldeep Yadav, Phillips played an innings of 25 runs in 7 balls. Phillips was adjudged man of the match.
