IPL 2023: Virat Kohli’s century in Royal Challenger’s victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad, Heinirch Klassen Century goes in vain

Hyderabad | Virat Kohli’s century innings of 100 runs in 63 balls with the help of 12 fours and 4 sixes helped Royal Challenger Bangalore in defeating Sun Risers Hyderabad by 8 wickets in the 65th match of IPL 2023.

Royal Challengers won the toss and invited Sunrisers Hyderabad to bat first. Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 186 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the 20 overs with the stormy inning of 104 runs in 51 balls with the help of 8 fours and 6 sixes by Heinrich Klaasen. Harry Brook played an unbeaten inning of 27 runs. Michael Braswell took 2 wickets for 13 runs. Chasing a target of 187 runs, in-form Virat Kohli (100) and Faf Du Plessis (71) put on 172 runs for the first wicket to give the Royal Challengers a brilliant start and made the target of 187 runs very easy. Royal Challengers chased down the winning target in 19.2 overs losing 2 wickets.  Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T. Natarajan took 1 wicket each. Virat Kohli was awarded man of the match for his brilliant match winning century.
