Ghaziabad |Mishra Sports registered an easy victory over TNM Cricket Academy by 5 wickets in the inaugural match of the 24th Manav Chopra Under-19 Cricket Tournament.
Batting first after winning the toss, the entire team of TNM Cricket Academy was reduced to 132 runs in 32.4 overs. Inzamam scored 72 and Shivam Singh scored 31 not out. Vishant Bhati took 3 wickets by giving 15 runs and Sahaj Kharbanda took 2 wickets by giving 1 run.
Mishra Sports Club achieved the easy target of 132 runs by losing 5 wickets in 24.1 overs. Vishu Yadav scored 42 not out, Rishabh Rana scored 25 runs. Nikhil Yadav took 1 wicket by giving 31 runs. Vishant Bhati was given the man of the match award. Earlier the tournament was inaugurated by former Indian wicket Keeper Mohan Chaturvedi.
Former Ranji players Vijay Bahadur Mishra, Manoj Makad and Pawan Sharma, Padam Singh Chauhan, Rajesh Chopra, Phool Chand Sharma, Naveen Chauhan, Ajay Yadav, Praveen Mishra, Anand Mishra and Organizing Secretary Ankit Mishra were present on the occasion.
