Modern School Barakhamba won the title of PC Batta Cricket Tournament, fine century by Aryaman Sakuja

Dehradun | Aryaman Sakula’s brilliant century of 105 off 53 balls helped Modern School Barakhamba in defeating The Doon School by 144 runs to win the fifth All India PC Batta tournament title. Batting first, Modern School Barakhamba made a mammoth score of 220 runs for 3 wickets in 20 overs. Aryaman Sakuja played a brilliant inning of 105 runs in 53 balls with the help of 13 fours and 5 sixes. Vigyat Kapoor scored 62 and Riyansh Kapoor scored 24 runs. Vinesh Uniyal and Arjun Prakash took 1-1 wickets. Chasing a mammoth target of 220 runs, The Doon School team could manage only 76 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and lost the match by 144 runs. Vidit Verma scored 25 and Gursanjan Singh played an unbeaten inning of 20 runs. Ishank took 3 wickets for 16 runs. Aryaman Sakuja was adjudged man of the match for his brilliant batting. Man of the Series was awarded to Vigyat Kapoor, Best Batsman to Tanmay Chaudhary, Best Bowler to Rajeev Suri and Best Wicket Keeper of the tournament to Riyansh Kapoor.
