New Delhi |SS Sports won the D.D. Tyagi Prize Money T-20 Cricket Tournament by defeating Life Care Lucknow by 13 runs in a thrilling Match. Life Care Lucknow won the toss and invited SS Sports to bat. SS Sports made a big score of 228 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in the 20 overs. Shivam Gupta played a brilliant inning of 71 runs in 36 balls with the help of 6 fours and 4 sixes. Jayant Lakhlan and Dev Lakra played innings of 42-42 runs. Rohit Dangwal and Gaurav Tomar took 2-2 wickets.
Chasing 228 runs to win, Life Care Lucknow team could score only 215 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in the 20 overs and lost the match by 13 runs. Ekansh Dobal played an inning of 63 runs in 35 balls with the help of 10 fours and 1 six. Mendy Bora took 2 wickets for 41 runs.
Shivam Gupta was adjudged man of the match for his excellent batting. Abhinav Tej Rana was awarded as the best batsman, Manish Sherawat as the best bowler and Dev Lakra as the best all-rounder by the tournament organizer Sanjay Tyagi. The winning team was given a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh and the runner-up team was given a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh.
