Pakistan lost in last match of ODI series, beat New Zealand 4-1 in the series
Karachi| Despite a 47-run defeat by New Zealand in the last ODI, Pakistan won the ODI series 4–1. New Zealand's team, batting first, was reduced to 299 in 49.3 overs. Will Young scored 87, Tom Latham scored 59 and Mark Chapman scored 43 runs. Shaheen Shah Afridi took 3 wickets, Usama Mir and Shadab Khan took 2-2 wickets for Pakistan. Chasing 299, Pakistan were bundled out for 252 in 46.1 overs and lost the match by 47 runs. Iftikhar Ahmed played a brilliant inning of 94 not out. Agha Salman contributed 57 runs. Henry Shipley took 3 wickets for 34 runs and was adjudged man of the match. Fakhar Zaman was chosen as the man of the tournament as he scored 363 runs in the series.
