New Delhi | Rann Star Club defeated Rajnigandha Achievers by 11 runs with the help of Vaibhav Kandpal’s 108 runs inning (13 fours and 6 sixes) in 48 balls, with this win Rann Star Club entered to the semi-final of the 46th Lala Raghubir Singh Hot Weather Cricket Tournament.
Rajnigandha Achievers won the toss and invited Rann Star Club to bat first, due to rain, the match was reduced to 25-25 overs. Run Star Club scored 291 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 25 overs. Vaibhav Kandpal scored 108 and Sujal Singh scored 78 runs. Ankit Chaudhary bowled brilliantly and took 3 wickets for 32 runs.
Chasing a target of 291 runs, Rajnigandha Achievers could only manage 280 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 25 overs and lost the match by 11 runs. SKS scored 69 and Manish Sherahwat scored 61 runs.
